For the health and safety of our staff and guests, we have made significant changes to the entry process, as well as our daily operations. These changes will remain in place until further notice.

The health and safety of our guests and staff is our top priority.
● All Villagio Resorts staff members will wear protective face coverings during their shifts.
● You will see signage and markers throughout the venue to remind you to follow social distancing guidelines, practice good hygiene, and abide by other safety measures.
● Additional hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the venue, and staff will rotate through Villagio Resorts to clean high-touch areas like handrails, tables, chairs, and door handles throughout the day.
● Villagio Resorts continues to follow the current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines by asking employees and guests to stay home if they are sick, encouraging respiratory etiquette, hand hygiene, and routinely cleaning all surfaces and public areas.
● If you feel sick prior to your arrival, we ask that you not visit Villagio Resorts.

Have your hours changed?
We are mostly working from home right now but are always available by phone or email. If you would like to visit the venue, please schedule a time to meet prior to visiting the venue.
How will entering the property work on the day of my event?
Guests will be stopped upon entering the property and asked to sign a waiver. At this time, their temperature will also be taken. If anyone’s temperature breaches 100.4 degrees fahrenheit, they will not be permitted to enter the event and will have to leave the property. Once the waiver is signed and their temperature is taken, the guests will be given wristbands to wear throughout the evening. The wristbands must be worn the entire time while they are on the property.
What about parking?
Guests will be directed to the ceremony location and they will unload their vehicle there. The driver will be directed to the parking lot to park the vehicle. The driver will be asked if they prefer to be golf carted to the ceremony location or to walk. After each ride, the handrails and seats will be wiped down. We have made these necessary changes to the parking process to eliminate unnecessary contact and to reduce parking lot mingling between guests.
How will this affect my ceremony?
The ceremony space will be pre-setup with the maximum number of chairs the area can hold. Guests will be ushered into the ceremony and designated where to sit to ensure that guests are sitting apart from one another. Ceremonies must follow the same rules as church services. This means every other row must be blocked off and only members of the same household should sit next to one another. Wedding
ceremonies held at an indoor venue is only allowed 25% occupancy, making the maximum occupancy for the Poolside Chapel 75 guests. These occupancy limits do not apply to the outdoor areas of the wedding venue or to outdoor wedding ceremonies.
How will this affect my reception?
Facilities hosting wedding receptions must limit their occupancy to 25% of the total listed occupancy. These occupancy limits do not apply to the outdoor areas of a wedding reception or to outdoor wedding receptions. The 25% occupancy for the Lakeside Ballroom is 100 guests. Tables will be spaced out as much as possible and guests should practice social distancing. Only members of the same household should sit together at the same table.
Will it be possible to follow social distancing protocols?
Yes, absolutely. We’ve made some changes inside the venue to allow all Villagio staff and guests to appropriately social distance. You will see markers in queuing areas as well as signage throughout the property to remind you to follow these guidelines.
Is it safe to visit Villagio Resorts?
The changes we have put in place are meant to create the safest possible environment for everyone, including our guests, clients, and staff. We ask that everyone follow social distancing protocols and other posted guidelines throughout the venue, as well as respiratory etiquette and hand hygiene.
Do I have to wear a mask? What about my kids?
Masks are not required for you or your children, but we encourage your guests to bring masks which cover their mouth and nose, especially if they are in close proximity to others. Villagio Resorts will not be providing masks to guests.
How will catering work right now?
If you are using the Villagio catering team, our wait staff will be wearing face masks and gloves throughout the time they are serving dinner. Our flatware, glassware, and silverware is also cleaned and sanitized before and after every event to ensure maximum cleanliness. We must also follow certain new protocols, so tables will not be able to be pre-set with silverware, glassware, or flatware.
